We play blues from the guts, to chase the blues away.
Our voice and our groove are from France, the rhythm is Belgian, our wind comes from the UK, and the melody blows from Italy. A true European melting pot brewed in a Brussels caldron.
50% blues, 25% rock, 15% funky, and pinch of prog.
Shake it, don't stir, and let it infuse your soul.
Carving emotions in wind
We like others tell our story. This one is from the 2024 Belgian Blues Challenge at the Zik Zak:
It is a mix of a jazzy keyboard with the soulful grooves of a saxophone, strengthened by some progressive guitar riffs that make it all come together. They open here with 'Flatlands', and you can immediately hear that these 'Wind Cries The Blues' have a lot to offer. For me, its about class, especially because of the subtle timbre of keyboardist Amandine. Even after they dare to return to covers, we get a band that can effortlessly switch across styles.
